Puerto Pollensa - North Mallorca.

Puerto Pollensa has been 'THE' place to enjoy a relaxing holiday for many years.  Spanish, French, Italian and Mallorquin's have had family holiday homes here for generations.

The Royal Yacht Club in Puerto Pollensa marina, attracts people from all over the world and a walk amongst the yachts, to the point at the end of the marina is a delight. At the point you can see the view to the mouth of the bay and the sea beyond and on the really hot summer days, this is one place where you can always find a cooling breeze.

The sandy beaches with their shallow waters are ideal for families and the long promenade allows for those tranquil walks in the warm Mediterranean evenings. Puerto Pollensa ( the Spanish name) or Port de Pollenša ( the Mallorquin name) has an abundance of excellent restaurants and cafes, many of which have live music, a guitarist, or saxophone player to entertain you on the warm summer evenings.

With a back drop of the Tramuntana Mountains the Pollensa bay is one of the most beautiful.

Pollensa

The old village of Pollensa is full of history and the local people value their culture and traditions.

Walking through the narrow streets is a joy and don't forget as you stroll through the village, to look up occasionally to see the architecture.

The local culture can be experienced through their many fiestas, held throughout the year. Some are cultural, some are religious and some are for the sheer pleasure of enjoying life.
